14 Prison Breakin

After resting for the night the group headed back for the dragon's lair, where they found that a couple of ettins tossing bodies into the pond outside the lair. A fight with the ettins and later their masters, a bunch of fey giants (a Gug, two Formorians and two Degenerate Titans) who where just about to take the treasure ensued, with the party winning and taking the ridiculously huge treasure they rolled up...

Back to Waterdeep, some shopping, then on to the Council of Dragons where they were asked to free a dragon who had been imprisoned by aberrations since 'I was but a wyrmling' (as the Great Wyrm said) to prove that humans were actually worth bringing along when the metallic dragons assaulted Tiamat's temple. (Or, alternately, to make sure that the attacks of the alliance and the dragons were actually coordinated so as to make sure each wasn't wiped out in detail...)

They were flown to the site of the prison, where they found a very large tribe of ogres and ogre mages occupying the location. They fought off all the ones on the ground level, slept for a night and headed below ground where there were even more ogres (as well as a couple of golems and some oozes.) When the chieftain appeared and asked to parley with such obviously worthy foes, hinting that he had knowledge they could use, as well as a favor to ask, they ignored him and the fight got even more intense, until the weekend was over...
